One of the things I have been aware of for some time is my lack of note taking. I have found that it difficult to take notes in meetings, or at conferences, as my hand writing is, ummm, difficult for myself to translate let alone anybody else. I have tried using a laptop, but I have found that they are to large and intrusive.
I have thought for a while that a tablet pc, like the Ipad, would work. I just haven’t had the opportunity to test them out. Until now that is. I took with me yesterday the pool Ipad for the library to a day seminar and I found taking notes on it a real breeze. It wasn’t intrusive, or noisy, and I found the touch screen keyboard a lot easier to use in that situation than a laptops,
I think I might have to prioritise getting a tablet. Now since I am on a limited budget, and am not wedded to Apple, I am happy to consider an alternative running Android, but I have no experience of Android devices. Or the Windows7 equivalent.
So I am looking for advice on what to look for. What alternatives are there? Especially cheaper ones?
I would want to be able to run say a Kindle App or the Adobe Digital Editions App on it. Does Android have those apps? Also can you get a Word App?
And weirdly enough, since all our audio is through Itunes, can you get an Itunes app for Android?
